Master Sergeant Keony T. Denson Announced Retirement

Master Sergeant Keony Tamar Denson is the First Sergeant of the 802d Force Support Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.  She is the principle advisor to the commander on all issues regarding the health, welfare, morale and discipline for over 2000 personnel.  Sergeant Master Denson assists the commander with administrative control of all military personnel, and is responsible for accomplishing assigned tasks as well as organizing, training, equipping, and sustaining assigned and attached forces.  She provides the commander assistance with military UCMJ authority and administrative support established by law, regulation, or policy requiring a G-series commander’s intervention.

Sergeant Denson entered the Air Force in December 1999. Her background includes various duties in the Medical Logistics community. Throughout her career, she has filled a myriad of roles including Additional-Duty First Sergeant. Her assignments have included bases in Louisiana, Maryland, Florida, and Washington DC. She also served overseas in South Korea and deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Prior to her current position, she was the First Sergeant of Headquarters, Twenty-Fourth Air Force, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
